Thought Bubble 2016: 1st-6th November!

TB 2014 Festival Spotlights: Signing Tour by thoughtbubblefestival

Hey gang!

The final countdown to this year’s Thought Bubble has well and truly begun with the release of the full festival programme for 2014’s events! Taking place from 9th – 16th November at venues across Leeds and beyond, 2014’s celebration of comics comprises over 80 events for fans of all ages, and includes free art & writing based workshops for young people & adults, talks & masterclasses lead by industry professionals, a programme of sequential art related film screenings, & our massive two-day comics convention on 15th & 16th November!

The full festival programme can be found on this page, with full information on events available by clicking their titles.

Details of books making their début at this year’s Thought Bubble can be found on this page, and if you’ve got a project launching at the show then there’s details of how to get it listed on there too.

Thought Bubble is extremely grateful to Arts Council England for their generous support of the festival, which this year will allow us to record the panels and talks taking place at our convention to release after the festival as free podcasts. We’re also indebted to Leeds Inspired for awarding us a grant allowing for free Kodama Woods art workshops in the build-up to the festival, and then further decoration of last year’s Bub’s Lounge initiative. Full details of these endeavours can be found in the festival programme.

Thought Bubble 2014 promises to be a cavalcade of comics-related fun for everyone, and is now less than a month away, so don’t forget to check out all the guests and exhibitors who’ll be joining us, and make sure to get your tickets for this year’s convention (although more will be available on the door).

We can’t wait to welcome everyone to Leeds in November, and to get you in the mood, we’ll be highlighting certain types of events taking place during the festival, in order that no one misses out on anything!

First up under the spotlight is our annual Thought Bubble signing tour – a series of events at comic shops around the country where we bring some of our guests to a city near you! If you can’t make it to this year’s festival, or want to meet some great creators to get you in the mood for our convention on November 15th & 16th, then these are the events for you.

This year’s signing tour is brought to all you lucky folks in association with Travelling Man comic stores, Gosh! Comics, and Orbital Comics, and full details of each signing can be found below!
